As it is a small bag there is no gauge needed. It will look best with cotton crochet yarn and rocailles beads in a contrasting colour.

String the beads on the thread before knitting. You’ll need 252 beads for the star motif on the bottom, the total number of beads depends on how big you want the bag to be.
