This pattern makes a 50”x60” throw blanket in burnt orange, with the Longhorns logo in off-white. It’s made with Caron Simply Soft yarn in Pumpkin (4.5 skeins) and Off White (1/2 skein) and a 10mm crochet hook.

NOTE: I used what I call “stockinette single crochet” for this project. It is the crochet equivalent of alternating rows of knitting and purling, and is best achieved by alternating between left hand and right hand for each row. However, the pattern will work just the same if you crochet standard way, it will just have a different visual texture.
