Now there is a story behind this one!

When I was in college, a girl in our dorm taught some of us to make granny squares. I knew none of the names of the stitches or anything. Just how to make granny squares! Hey! It’s a start. I decided one day that I was bored making grannies so took that one stitch that was big (found out later it was a double crochet) and make rows of them in many colors to use up my yarn stash!

This blanket is the result. It is not in terrific shape now, but it is warm and cozy and is on the back of my recliner after 25 years! Best of all--it is incredibly easy to make in any size you want. Enjoy!
