Bexley hat
The Bexley hat grew out of my obsessions with the bubble stitch pattern and with the William Morris colorway of tosh merino light.
The pattern combines three colors of fingering weight yarn. Estimated yardages are as follows:
- COLOR A: Inside hem, turning row, 3 rows of bubbles and background of top of hat - 350 yards / 320 meters
- COLOR B: background of bubble pattern and slipped stitches on top - 100 yards / 92 meters
- COLOR C: 4 rows of bubbles - 40 yards / 37 meters
The two hats shown used the following colorways (all in tosh merino light or tosh unicorn tails):
Brown hat with blue slip stitches
- COLOR A: William Morris
- COLOR B: Well water
- COLOR C: Dust bowl
Green hat with celadon slip stitches
- COLOR A: Filigree
- COLOR B: Celadon
- COLOR C: Antler
The pattern contains detailed row-by-row directions and links to video tutorials.
