The Bi the Way Scarf was inspired by the Bisexual flag and its beautiful colors - blue, purple, and pink - to show pride in a sexual orientation that is too often ignored, erased, and mistreated. Makers are of course welcome to make this scarf in any colors they wish, though selecting to wear colors that show one’s pride is the ultimate goal of the design! The scarf would look fabulous in any tri-colored pride flag color scheme.

CONSTRUCTION
This scarf is knit lengthwise beginning with a long cast on for the entire length’s edge. Garter Stitch frames a Slanted Lace pattern around all sides - the cast on, bind off, left and right edges. Simple increases, decreases, and yarn overs work together to make the Slanted Lace pattern, creating mesh fabric. As the scarf is knit lengthwise, three vertical color stripes are made with simple color changes. The pattern’s length and width are easily adjustable.
