B.I.A.R. (Bobbles In A Row) is a cozy little cowl with a lot of fun texture. I love how the large bobbles reflect the little bumps from the seed stitch border; a stockinette background really makes those bobbles pop!

Notions needed:
24” circular needles (or longer for Magic Loop)
Stitch marker
Scissors
Tapestry needle

Gauge & suggested needles:
16 stitches & 25 rounds in a 4in/10cm stockinette swatch knit in the round and blocked
Knit using US 6/4.0mm needles
Adjust needle size to acquire the right gauge

Finished measurements:
Approximately 11 X 5.5 in (28 X 13.5cm) measured flat when blocked.

Suggested yarn:
260yds (238m) of DK yarn
260yds (238m) of Lace yarn
The cowl is knit with these yarns held together
A mohair or similar type of lace yarn is encouraged, but not required for this pattern.
The yardage listed should give you enough for the swatch, project, and some left over.

The sample cowl was knit using The Farmer’s Daughter Fiber yarns:
Juicy DK - 100% Superwash Merino. 274yd(250m)/100gm. Color - Prairie Smoke. 1 skein.
Oh Dang! - 74% Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk. 328yd(300m)/50gm. Color - Desert Rose). 1 skein.
