Construction of sweater no. 80
The sweater is worked in the round bottom-up to the armholes and then flat, in stockinette stitch with narrow stripes in a contrasting yarn or color. The stitches for the sleeves are picked up at the armholes and the sleeves are knit top down in the round.
The sweater has twisted ribbing in two colors at the lower body, the neck, and the sleeves.
This sweater is designed with a lot of positive ease but if you prefer to make a more fitted version you may want to work a split hem (see directions below).
