This pattern is worked as flat panel pieces which are sewn together.

The loom used for the pattern is Knifty Knitter brand. Two strands of worsted weight yarn worked as one, or a bulky yarn may be used. If a finer gauge loom is used, only one strand of worsted weight yarn, or more/less pegs, may be used.

Pattern uses two colors so that the ear warmers are reversible.

Instead of connecting the ear warmers (which is done to prevent the ear warmers from slipping on the helmet straps), weave and tie closed a string through the tops of each ear warmer to prevent slippage.

This patterns fits teens through adults, but can be made smaller by using fewer pegs and shortening the connecting panel.
