Designed with summer and warmer weather in mind, this simple garter stitch shawl is worked side-to-side. There is only one purl stitch in the 6 row edging repeat.

Bidwell is a perfect first shawl project for the newer knitter. The sport weight yarn is light enough to be comfortable, but heavy enough to work up quickly at a loose gauge to give it drape.

The green version used 5 skeins of now discontinued Frogree Picoboo. Substitution info:
