I am obsessed with ribbing right now. I think ribbing is so underrated. I love the graphic stripe that you get with a rib, and I love the way that it looks like stockinette when it is not stretched out. This is a basic four paneled beanie with a 4 point decrease. It has two panels each of stockinette and 1 x 1 rib. Beanies are classic, and suitable for everyone. I have included sizing from baby to Adult large.

Big Bad Beanie was named by my son who, though he has no interest in knitting himself, enjoys hearing about my projects.

The hat is knit in the round from the bottom up in a worsted weight yarn.

Allow for about 2” of negative ease. Gauge is important with this project for a good fit.

Baby fits 15-16” circumference
Toddler fits 16-17” circumference
Child fits 18-19” circumference
Adult Small fits up to 20” circumference
Adult Medium fits up to 21.5” circumference
Adult Large fits up to 23” circumference

Happy Knitting.
