This little piggy is more of a big piggy! It stands about 8 to 9 inches tall, about 5 inches wide excluding ears, and from nose to back of head about 6 inches deep. The directions given are for the more traditional white / pink pig, however, instructions for the black and white Hampshire pig are included as well. Look for a ** within body directions and a second instruction for color or no color changes for the Hampshire pig for muzzle, mouth, ears, body and legs.

Materials:

PINK PIG: Red Heart Super Saver: Aran, Pink, cherry red (for tongue)

Proceed to next stitch with new color. Single crochet a few stitches. Cut end of old color leaving about 3 inches of yarn. This can be knotted to new color end.

SC - Single Crochet
HDC - half double crochet
2 TOG - next 2 stitches together (decrease)
SLST - slip stitch

DIRECTIONS here are for the WHITE/PINK PIG. If making the Hampshire pig, start with the charcoal yarn. A double ** will show where to change color from the charcoal to white and again back to charcoal on the body.
