This is the first of a series of Flower Ballerinas.

Each ballerina tutu will have a different flower design and there is a big and little sister pattern available.

This is the Big Poinsettia Flower Sister.

Skill level - Intermediate Beginner.

Skills required - Magic ring, crochet stitches, working in the round and turning work, increasing and decreasing, color changes, simple sewing together of pieces.

Materials required - Yarn, 3mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, stuffing, stitch markers, pins, scissors, safety eyes

Size - if you use a 3mm crochet hook and DK yarn, as I did, your doll’s standing height should be around 27cm.

Languages - This pattern is available in English.

There is no gauge as this is an Amigurumi doll and you will use less than one ball of yarn per color.

The pattern includes instructions to make the full doll including the hair, skirt and flower embellishment which need to be sewn on.

This doll is not suitable for very young children and babies as the eyes may constitute a choking hazard. Should you wish to make this for a very young child, consider replacing with embroidered eyes for safety.
