Big Purse Pouch
Gauge: 3 inches = 11 DC stitches and 7 rows tall
Dimensions of the pouch: 7 ½ inches tall, the diameter of the bottom is 5 inches, and the circumference of the body is 20 inches.
If you do not know what a magic circle is, I suggest looking up a YouTube video on how to make one. For this pattern we are not making slip stitches to join the round, instead we will just continue to the next round. At the end of the first row, we will be putting a stitch marker in the first stitch of each row. Personally I used acrylic self-striping yarn but you can use any type of yarn that is a size 4, you can also use a size 5 yarn just make sure you use a hook that is a size up from the one suggested. Anything that is below a size 4 or above a size 5 yarn I do not recommend using.
In round 21, the reason why we are crocheting in the back loop is because it sections the bag from the body from the top.
