This is my go-to comfy hat for cool fall weather. It’s fairly roomy so if you want a smaller hat, just shorten the first row by however many multiples of 4-stitch repeats you desire. Free on Ravelry and Love Crafts.

This pattern is a simple and quick knit, using 3 strands of yarn that are knit as one, on 15mm needles. Please note this correction: double pointed needles/circulars are not required as the hat is seamed.

Use three different colours or, two dominant and one accent colour (shown in photo). A yarn needle is used to seam the side and close the crown.

For two colours: Use one skein divided in half for the dominant colour and one half skein for the accent colour.
For three colours: Use three Impeccable half-skeins.
