Located in an upland area between the Monashee Mountain range and the Okanagan Valley is Big White Mountain, the highest summit of the Okanagan Highland and home to the third largest ski resort in British Columbia. A family-oriented winter playground affectionately called “Biggie” by locals!

This quick, cozy cowl is includes options for a traditional cowl or an infinity scarf.

YARN/YARDAGE

Super Bulky/Jumbo weight yarn—approx. 150g (90y) for cowl and 300g (180y) for infinity scarf.

Shown in Malabrigo Rasta (100% merino; 90y/150g). Cowl in Ravelry Red and infinity scarf in Frank Ochre.

TOOLS

12mm (US 17) 24” circular needle for cowl or 32” circular needle for infinity scarf, or size needed to obtain gauge, stitch marker, darning needle.

GAUGE

7 st / 4” in pattern, after blocking.

(A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.)

SIZING/FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Cowl: 28” around by 8½” tall, after blocking.
