Located in an upland area between the Monashee Mountain range and the Okanagan Valley is Big White Mountain, the highest summit of the Okanagan Highland and home to the third largest ski resort in British Columbia. A family-oriented winter playground affectionately called “Biggie” by locals!

These quick, cozy mittens include options for two sizes.

YARN/YARDAGE

Super Bulky/Jumbo weight yarn—approx. 105–145g (65–90y), depending on size knit.

Shown in Malabrigo Rasta (100% merino; 90y/150g), in Plomo (adult L/XL).

TOOLS

8mm (US 11) needles in preferred method of working in the round, or size needed to obtain gauge, stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holder, darning needle.

GAUGE

10 st / 4” in pattern, after blocking.

(A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.)
