Socks are worked from the cuff down. They are knit with a heel flap, heel turn and gusset.

Pattern may be knit using DPNs, two circular needles, or one long circular with the magic loop method.

One of the definitions of “bijou” is jewel or trinket, small and elegant. That’s how I think of the little stitch pattern in these socks. It’s just a little trinket, but it makes for an elegant pattern.

I love knitting socks that look beautiful, like a jewel, but without having to concentrate and fuss over a complicated stitch pattern or chart. These fit the bill to perfection!
