Bikube is the Danish word for ‘beehive’. The Bikube cowl is worked in 2-color double knit in the round.

This pattern includes directions for knitting the cowl in 2 different sizes Small and Large - circumference 67 and 100 centimeters and a height of 24 centimeters.

This pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 25 stitches per 10 centimeters (stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of approximate 150 meters per 50 grams.

Size Small cowl pictured knitted in hand dyed 100% Merino wool (Chester wool - Merino 300) and Italian wool Lane Cervinia Toledo.

This pattern is written for a knitter who is familiar with 2-color double knit (worked in the round), a knitter who is able to follow written instructions as well as follow charts.

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
