A quartet of acorns rests on a soft bed of leaves and diamonds in the center of this visually rich doily. A knitted-on lace edging forms an attractive saw-tooth edge. Despite its old-fashioned appearance, the doily plays daringly with traditional construction by rearranging the increases to work the doily first in 4 wedges and then in 12, rather than in the typical 8. The dramatic size makes it the perfect focal point for your kitchen or centerpiece for your next garden party.

Pattern has been tech edited and tested.
