The Billow Pillow Bow is a little knit accessory to celebrate this festive season. It can be worn year-round as a hair accessory, but can also be used as decoration, a tree ornament, for gift wrapping or a present in itself. The possibilities are endless.

Construction:
The bow is knit from right to left in one piece in the round. Decorative stitches at both sides of the bow create a cute rounded shape. The bow and ribbons are further shaped with increases and decreases. Once you’ve finished the bow, the ends are simply tucked in and the bow is folded and tucked under the centre part to create the final shape.

Size:
One size

Yarn:
20g Drops Flora or a fingering weight yarn of your choice.

Gauge (10x10 cms):
28 sts by 40 rows on 3.25mm needles, stockinette

Notions and needles:
2x 3.25mm needles with desired string length (60/80 cm)
Tapestry/darning needle

Tip:
To change the size of the bow, simply use a different weight yarn with its recommended needle size. Sports weight or DK weight yarn can be used with 3.5-4.0 mm needles for larger bows. Or you can use a fingering weight yarn with 2.0-2.5 mm needles for smaller ones.
