Meet Billy the Bee - the busiest little guy you ever did see! Billy always has places to be, people to see
and sweet treats to eat. You’ll often find him buzzing around the garden, but he always finds time to stop and smell the flowers.

Step-by-step instructions with clear, helpful photos
Finished Size -
When made with the same yarn weight and hook size, your bee should measure approximately 7
inches (17.5cm). However, size will differ depending on yarn weight and hook size.
Note - Gauge is not important for this pattern.
Difficulty -
Suitable for advanced beginners - intermediate crocheters
Tested by a group of experienced crocheters
Materials Needed -
Yarn –
4ply Cotton Yarn (I have used Yarn and Colors Must-Have) in the following colours and quantities:
Black - (Body) - Black - 40g
Yellow - (Body) - Sunglow- 30g
White - (Wings) - White - 15g
Pink - (Cheeks) - Light Pink - < 10g
I have also used fur yarn for the neck of the bee - King Cole Cuddles - White
Fur yarn is optional and can be swapped out for your normal yarn.
Note - All yarn quantities are approximate; you may need more/less yarn depending on your tension, hook size and yarn type.
Tools -
2.25mm crochet hook
Toy stuffing
White embroidery thread or fine yarn
Pipe cleaners (optional)
Tapestry needle
Pins for sewing
Stitch markers
Scissors
