Billy The Puppet fingerless mitts are knit in the round from the bottom up and include shaped thumb gussets, duplicate stitch, and Latvian Braids.
Pattern can be worked using a long circular needle for Magic Loop or with double-pointed needles. The mitts contain long floats, so be sure to “catch” the yarn frequently on back of work.

Size is about a women’s medium at a gauge of 9 stitches/inch. The hand circumference measures at 7.5 inches and the wrist circumference at 6 2/3 inches. Sizing can be adjusted by modifying the gauge by changing needle sizes. At a gauge of 8 stitches/inch, the hand and wrist circumferences would be about 8.5 and 7.5 inches respectively. Knit a swatch to determine your desired gauge. Mitts are approximately 7 inches long.
