Gauge: 22 sts × 34 rows = 10 × 10 cm (garter stitch after blocking), not crucial.
Needles: 3.0–3.5 mm (or whatever gives a soft fabric).
Difficulty: intermediate — for knitters who enjoy texture and rhythm.
