I am using chenille yarn by different manufacturers in size 6 bulky. I use it with a 5mm crochet hook. In this project I use safety eyes in 12mm. Of course you can use any yarn and a matching hook and eyes.
If you use my recommendations, your body will be 8 cm wide and 16 cm long. With wings it will be 12 cm wide.
