Materials:

• Yarn of your choice in contrasting colours (I used 4 weight acrylic double stranded)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 5mm)
• Buttons (I used 2 x 25mm resin buttons)
• Darning needle + smaller needle for sewing on buttons
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

Stitches/techniques:

• Making a magic ring (MR)
• Half double crochet (HDC)
• Half double crochet decrease (HDC dec.)
• Single crochet (SC)
• Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
• Making a chain
• Working into the 3rd loop of a chain (optional)
• Increasing in the round
• Tying on yarn
• Sewing on buttons and spots to sweater
• Weaving in ends
• Sizing the garment to your cat’s proportions
