Basic DK socks

The Birch Hollow Socks are basic DK socks knit cuff down. This Yellow Farmhouse has a new pattern! These easy knit socks use simple knits and purls to create a ribbed cuff to keep from slouching, and the rest is an easy stockinette stitch! Worked in Knit Picks Hawthorne DK “Cattail Kettle”, a beautiful “grellow” (grayish yellow), the kettle dyed yarn has texture worked into the sock itself.
Instructions are written with 9” circular needles, with a heel flap and gusset and toes worked over double pointed needles.

I recommend knitting socks with 100% wool or a wool/nylon blend to keep structure and durability to your finished socks. To make your socks taller or shorter, add or decrease the number of rows you knit before working the heel.
