Birches Cowl is inspired by a tree I loved daydreaming under as a child. It was fascinating in every season, even when I could only gaze at it from a window in the depths of winter as it bowed down under a sparkling layer of ice.

As an adult, I find that the scarves and shawls I most enjoy wearing are the ones that don’t have ends that constantly need adjusting. Birches Cowl is designed to wear as a statement scarf or up over the shoulders like a small shawl.

Pattern is in one size, but is easily expandable - more advice on that on my blog soon!
