Bird Feet
Bird Feet is a striking multicolor knitting pattern built on an entirely original technique.
Bold, graphic motifs echo the shape of stylized bird claws, arranged in rhythmic rows of vivid color contrast. The fabric comes alive with energy - playful, eye-catching, and unlike anything else in your project queue.
Each row uses just one color; there is no stranding, no stacked stitches. This unconventional method keeps the knitting approachable while delivering a rich, multicolored result that typically demands far more advanced colorwork techniques.
I am still knitting it, but I am already addicted to it!
Includes a detailed photo tutorial.
You will need fingering yarn that does not split (5 different colors), 3.5-4.0mm needles, and a couple of stitch markers.
You can make anything rectangular, of any size. One repeat is approx 6 cm wide.
