Sometimes you just need a gentle knit, something effortless that will allow your mind to relax and unwind. These straightforward socks, knit from the toe-up will provide that much needed relaxation. Simply start off until you haven’t a care in the world, then finish with some uncomplicated lace when you’re ready.

These socks would be great for showing off your favourite variegated yarns, with one skein being enough for even the largest size.

34 sts x 54 rnds over 10 cm/ 4” in stocking stitch, worked in the round, after blocking.
