This fingering weight cowl is so easy for even a beginner crocheter. Almost all single crochets, accented by a decorative “bird foot”, you will fly through this pattern and be ready to make more in no time.

Finished size is 9”h x 35” around, but the pattern is adjustable. You can make the cowl larger or smaller in increments of ten stitches in either direction. This will affect the yarn amounts needed.

Baah Babies are no longer available. As of July 2023, I am reworking the pattern with Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails with minimal variations.

You will need 8 mini skeins at approx 52y each. Colors A-F should be different. G & H are your contrast colors. In the light colored with the orange accents, you can see if you look closely that each orange contrast section has two different oranges. For the Unicorn Tails version in progress, my colors G & H are the same color.

Baah Babies (lighter cream to pink with orange accents) - colors were not named.

Unicorn Tails jewel tones:
A-Saffron
B-Jade
C-Cousteau
D-Flashdance
E-Madonna
F-Rocinante
