Construction:

The blouse is worked top down. First, the back piece is knitted in stockinette stitch and the stitches are then placed on hold. The front pieces are worked one at a time by picking up stitches along the cast-on edge of the back piece.

Increases are made along one side of both front pieces to shape the V-neck. The front pieces are joined, and work continues in stockinette stitch until the front matches the length of the back. The back and the front is then joined, and the body is knitted in the round with decreases at the waist.

The sleeves are worked back and forth in stockinette stitch using short rows to shape the underarm, and are then knitted in the round to the desired length. Finally, an i-cord edge is worked along the V-neck, on the sleeves, and at the bottom of the body.
