Materials

for the Bag
Hook size: T-shirt yarn: 8.0 mm.
Yarn: You can use whatever yarn you like.
T-shirt yarn: I used “Hoooked Zpagetti Solid” T-shirt yarn (700 g, 120 m) from www.hoookedyarn.com.
Cotton/thin yarn: You can also use multiple strands of a different type of yarn. When using Size 3 yarn, use 5-7 strands to achieve the same size as 1 strand T-shirt yarn. An alternative for T-shirt yarn is 5-7 strands of “Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8” from www.hobbii.com. See the next page for the colors.
Stitch markers: Optional but helpful for keeping track of rounds.
Yarn needle: For weaving in ends.
Scissors: For cutting yarn.
Optional: Lining fabric (to strengthen the bag), magnetic closure, or a zipper.

Hook size: 1.5 mm. You can use whatever hook size you like, according to the yarn.

Bag: There are no color codes for the T-shirt yarn I used for the bag. You will need green and blue hues. You can also use cotton yarn to replace T-shirt yarn. The following cotton yarn colors are a similar alternative from “Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8” Yarn weight: Light Worsted, DK, 8 ply, Size 3
