This pattern is for left handed makers.

Use this crochet pattern to make a birthday age banner. The party banner is a great addition to your birthday celebrations. The numbers and letters are made using intarsia crochet and the pattern includes written instructions and a chart to make each flag. The pattern includes instructions to make numbers 0-9 and the letters to spell out ‘today!’. The flags are easy to change on the bunting so with a whole set of numbers you can celebrate every age.

Crochet sts lean slightly and do not sit directly above each other, this makes neat edges in colorwork a bit of a challenge. These letters have been carefully designed to account for this. Right handed and left handed makers will have sts that lean in opposite ways and this pattern has been devised for left handed makers. You can find the right handed version here
