This pattern is dedicated to my daughter Luna on her 1st birthday.

This hat is sized for toddler to adult large so everyone can have a special crown in their wardrobe!

Sizes: XS S, M, L, XL
Finished circumference: 1416, 18, 20, 22” measured after blocking

Yarn: 2 contrasting colors of DK weight yarn.

Gauge: 5.5 sts per inch or 22 sts per 4”/10cm in stranded colorwork after blocking.

Needles: US size 4 (16”), US size 6 (16”), US size 6 dpns for crown decreases, or size to get gauge, PLUS one size smaller for ribbing.

Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Construction: Birthday Crown Beanie is worked from the bottom up, with crown decreases beginning after colorwork is completed.
