Bisou is one of the many French words for kiss, this one symbolising an affectionate kiss between friends or partners.
The Bisou pillow is a simple tapestry crochet pillow pattern which would make a beautiful addition to your home or as a gift.

Skill Level
This is an easy pattern made in rows using mostly single crochet (UK double crochet). The colour work is made with simple single crochet cluster stitches (which are fully explained in the pattern).
There is a chart for the colour work, but instructions are also written out in full.

Sizing
This pattern is written for a 52cm x 32cm (21in x 12.5in) cushion pad.
Guidance is included on how to resize it for any cushion pad.

Materials
The pattern requires approximately 250g of aran / worsted weight yarn using a 4.5mm crochet hook. This used We are Knitters’ The Cotton Wool and about 5g of Rico Essentials Superkid Mohair loves silk for the lettering.
I have used mixed fibres but it would work equally well using the same yarn in contrasting colours.
