Named for the bee-beloved many-flowered medicinal, the spare simplicity of white stockinette contrasts with the botanically-inspired colorwork of the yoke. Capped off with traditional Latvian braids at collar, cuffs, and hem, this twice twisted top (bis ‘twice’, torta ‘twisted’) is sure to impress.

The Bistort Pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up, with standard short rows to shape the back neck. Traditional two-color Fair Isle colorwork adorns the yoke.

This pattern includes colorwork charts.
