Just another little way to use up odds & ends and add a little knitting to your home decor. This little bowl uses just 50-60 yards of worsted weight wool. It can be used for stashing knitting notions, paper clips or any little doodads that warm the cockles of your heart.

It can be left plain or embellished in a variety of ways. One of my prototypes was embroidered with back stitches & lazy daisy stitches (in wool) to make stems and leaves, then buttons were added to simulate flowers. In a few cases, the buttons were flower shaped.

Make a magic ball, by using felted joins (spit splicing), and just have fun seeing what come next. The possibilities are endless and bounded only by your imagination.

Make some boxes from my other container pattern and have a set of matching containers.
