The Bitty Bunny pattern is a simple, learn to knit pattern. It is five pages long, with each step explained and illustrated. Skills needed are cast on, knit, purl, bind off, running stitches and seaming.

Any weight yarn can be used, and will influence the size of the final bunny. The lighter weight the yarn, the smaller the bunny; heavier yarn makes a bigger bunny. The Bitty Bunny is a small project, using only a few yards of yarn -- scrap yarn is usually sufficient.

The needles used should be a size or two smaller than normal for the yarn weight, because the fabric needs to be dense in order to keep the stuffing from showing.

Materials needed: a few yards of yarn, smaller than normal gauge needles for the selected yarn, tapestry needle, two or three locking stitch markers, scissors, stuffing material.
