2022: Please note corrections to Row C - P5 (instead of P4) for the left and right back sections. The pattern has been re-posted with the corrections in red.

Row C: Set up row for knitting the charts: K5, P5, (left back), PM, P8, (left sleeve), PM, P16, (front), PM, P8, (right sleeve), PM, P5, K1, M1, K3 (right back). (One increase for a total 51 + 1 = 52 sts)

The front Celtic knot panel and the bordering loose braided cables (repeated on the sleeves and the back) add a lot of texture to this crewneck sweater.

The sweater is designed for 1/3 scale curvy dolls that are 55 – 60 cm (22 – 23 inches) tall with bust-waist-hips measurements up to 24 – 16 – 25 cm (9.5 – 6.5 – 10 inches), such as Smart Dolls or UCaanan dolls. It is knit top-down and seamless.

Using about 150 yards of fingering weight yarn, it is designed as a cardigan-in-reverse for dressing without having to remove the doll’s head, or for a doll with a fixed head.

The body is knit flat and the sleeves are knit in the round. A garter stitch border at the start and end of each row creates a snap placket on the back.
