This pattern originated because I wanted some simple panties for my dolls. Something thin and lightweight that would fit easily under skirts and pants alike. I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I decided to try my hand at creating my own.

This pattern has a simple ribbed waistline and uses short rows similar to those in Cat’s Sweet Tomato Heel Socks ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRc3309JUyc ) to create the shaping over the doll’s behind. Finally, the very end is just a teensy bit of grafting to connect the front and back at the crotch for a nice seamless finish.

The white panties are made with bamboo crochet thread, and the green ones are with cotton. They both fit my Resinsoul double jointed girls just fine and should fit similar sized dolls as well.
