Enjoy:)) Blå Blomma = Blue Flower in Swedish. (Blå is pronounced bl“eau” - like in eau-de cologne) I wanted to give a Scandinavian touch to this supersoft, warming and feminine cowl with its matching wristwarmers. The lace-pattern of small leaves (with some imagination!) and the stranded colorwork of blue flowers in 3 shades from dark to lightblue embellishes this cosy set.
Both cowl and wristwarmers are worked in the round.
The cowl is larger at the base than at the top, which gives it a closer fit towards the face - and better protection agains chilly winds. It can easily be modified both in circumference and height.
The wristwarmers are knitted from the lace upwards, which means that you can make them to desired length by adding pattern-repeats.
The yardage mentioned is for the wool needed for the base (the beige). You will only need approx. 20 grams of each of the blue shades. This is the perfect set to work using some scrap-yarn lying about!
