Black Coast is a seamless sweater with a pretty lace pattern, worked seamlessly from the top down in a slight A-line shape. The front is worked first, with short-row shaping for the neckline, followed by the back to the underarm, where pieces are joined and continued in the round down to the hem.

Materials:

  • Holst Garn Coast (55% Merino, 45% Cotton) 50g/ 383 yards (350 meters), 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5) skeins or approx. 1210 (1280, 1350, 1430, 1540, 1650, 1770, 1890) yards 1110 (1170, 1235, 1310, 1410, 1510, 1620, 1730) meters of fingering weight yarn that knits up to gauge.
  • US 1½ – 2.5 mm 24” (60 cm) & 40” (100 cm) circular needles or DPNs
  • US 2½ – 3 mm 24” (60 cm) & 40” (100 cm) circular needles or DPNs
  • 4 stitch markers in one color (A)
  • 2 stitch markers in a second color (B)
  • Stitch holder or scrap yarn
  • Tapestry needle

XS (S, S1, M, L, L1, XL, 2X)
To fit: 30 (34, 36, 38, 40, 44, 48, 52)“ 76 (86, 91.5, 96.5, 100.5, 111.5, 122, 132) cm bust circumference.
The pullover is meant to be worn with up to 4” 10 cm of positive ease which is already incorporated into the pattern.
The sample is size M worn with 4” 10 cm of positive ease in the bust; knit in colorway “Black”.

24 sts and 32 rounds per 4” 10cm in stockinette stitch with larger needles after blocking – save time by checking the gauge .
