Black Purl Gloves
When I came across the colorway Black Purl I fell in love it and just knew that I had to design something that would show this beautiful color off.
A simple textured stitch at the wrists brings out the beauty of this variegated yarn, quite like a strand of black pearls.
While I designed these opera length fingerless gloves with this particular yarn in mind, any variegated yarn of the same weight and loft would make a lovely substitute.
The Black Purl gloves takes a single skein of Lorna’s Laces Honor to make.
Notes on Gauge:
24 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch (St st)
28 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in 1x1 Rib
