My oldest knitting book in my home library is - Village Arts, no. 5: Charted Knitting Patterns, Kaunas, Lithuania: Žemes Ukio Rumu leidykla, 1933.
There are charted mittens patterns with traditional Lithuanian ornaments. This book inspired me to knit traditional Lithuanian mittens collection.
The first mittens from my collection are the Blackberries mittens.

I will redesign all the old mitten patterns from this book to adapt them to more modern use.
