The Blackberry Blouse is a versatile, fitted knit top designed with a boat neck and optional sleeves, making it perfect for both everyday wear and the cooler weather.

The blouse is worked by starting with the back panel, beginning with gentle German short rows at the top of the neck. The back panel is worked to the specified armhole depth before the stitches are placed on hold. Stitches are then picked up at the neck to create the front shoulders, with gentle neckline shaping before connecting both shoulders and knitting the front panel to the same length as the back. Once the front and back panels are connected in the round, shaping begins for the bust and waist. The body is then worked to your desired length, with optional waist shaping to help prevent the blouse from rolling upward. The pattern includes instructions for both a sleeveless version with i-cord edging and a long, relaxed sleeve version.
