Blackberry Purl Cover
No one likes the bulky plastic Blackberry covers so here is a friendly knitted wallet, in very appropriate bramble stitch. I was delighted to find it works like a knitted version of bubble wrap, keeping the keys safe from being accidentally knocked and protecting the screen from scratches.
A simple wallet design with ribbed top.
Sizing was a bit trial and error. Knit a few rows in stocking stitch in the recommended tension to get the width right. I am a fairly slack knitter so you might need larger needles.
Drawstring (optional) was made with a 4.5mm crochet hook - the only one I had.
I am going to experiment with related stitches for other covers - berry and honeycomb might be good, also thick cabling designs.
