These little bonnets are a design I did for my friends twins, same pretty stitch but two different patterns so they each had their own style. Knitted with two different edges you can swop round on either bonnet to make your own style.
The pattern is for 0 -3 month size. Using larger needles will give a bigger bonnet. You could use an Aran weight yarn for a 3 - 6 month size,
I used satin ribbon for the ties and a knitted tie for the other bonnet.
Each bonnet takes approx. 60 yards of main and 30 yards of contrast.
