I created this pattern with wanting it to be for either male or female. It looks great as is or with a nice pom pom added. I think it is a great pattern for beginners to learn new techniques in knitting. In the pattern, I include suggested Youtube tutorials to understand new techniques. I received great feedback from all of my testers and I look forward to seeing more Blake beanies in the knitting community. Thank you for your support.
Things you need to know: (Read this section before starting pattern)
~ When you see (parentheses), this means that you need to complete all stitches in the (parentheses) in one stitch.
~ When you see asterisk, this means to repeat these stitches till the end of the round.
~ You will be working from the brim of the hat to the top.
~ You will need to know how to do the raspberry stitch, the make one increase and how to seed stitch. I will provide links down below for all of these techniques.

Materials:
Yarn – Worsted Weight #4 Medium (recommend using 1 skein “Jeans” by Lion Brand)
Circular needles - Size US 8 5.0mm 16 inches
Double Pointed needles – Size 8 (if needed)
Stitch markers (if needed)
Darning needle

Sizes:
Adult-large, Adult-small/Teen, Child, Toddler and Baby
Gauge:
Use the 1x1 ribbing K1,P1 to measure gauge in the round.
