Sometimes simple knitting is the best, and this cowl is knitting at its most simple. Ribbing and stockinette show off the subtle color variation in hand dyed yarn, and using a chunky yarn means the cowl knits up quickly!

But… the cowl doesn’t have to be simple. This Blank Slate is the perfect place to try out stripes, or add a bit of texture of your own choosing. Thin stripes, color blocking, or any stitch pattern that is a multiple of 2, 4, 8, or 13, can easily be knit on to this cowl to make it uniquely your own!
