The idea is to make a blanket / rug / bag / holdall that you can take anywhere you want. You could take to the park or the beach, lay the blanket flat, either sit on it or let a child play on it, and when it is time to go home, leave all the items on the blanket and pull the string as if to close the bag, that way you are ready to go ! Another important factor was that if you were to go to the beach, we need some mesh so the sand could sip through the holes. This is so versatile and can be used in so many ways. We both hope that you will enjoy this amazing pattern. There is also a video tutorial to support this pattern so feel free to check it out.

You can make this into any size that you want, mine was 36 inches in diameter.

I have used 400 grams of Aran yarn (#4 weight yarn)
